In Goblin Chess, losing a piece isn’t a setback—it’s funding. Every time your pieces are stolen, you earn Goblin Points. You use those points to buy cards that twist the rules, mutate your pieces, and disrupt the board. That bishop you just lost? It might just pay to hobble their queen.

Now, the bargaining starts.

Your opponent can threaten retaliation. They can offer your captured pieces back as an underhanded bribe. You can push your luck, take the dirty deal, or call their bluff. In this game, every move on the board matters—and so does every trick you’re pretending to hold in your hand. Its still chess, just with a twist ending.
